Glad that's over

Tried my best {in the moment} for an oral exam,
which I by no means was prepared for.
Because I am the world's craziest procrastinator.
There's no doubt about it.
Let's just say I passed, but barely...why do I do this to myself?

Here in Italy, the professor "chooses" whether he
wants his exam to be written or oral.
But lets just be real with ourselves
{a phrase that does not exist in Italian, ha}
they always choose oral.

Which for me is just a date with disaster.
Yes I can speak Italian,
but taking an exam in Italian is totally different ):
I don't have the same way of fluffing up my answers like I do in English!
Capisci?

And on top of everything, I blurted out the worst question possible
when the professor told me I was finished.
"Ho fatto male?"
Which means...
"I did bad, didn't I?"

Seriously Angela?

Anyways,
I decided not to let this sunny Thursday be any less bright after that disaster.
Did some vintage shopping with my good friend Ioana
{who you will see in the following pictures}
We also shopped for soap.

Pizza and friends make everything better don't they?

Looking forward to a free Friday,
which I plan to spend eating quesadillas, drinking tea,
and watching Downton Abbey (:

Exam preparation

If you ask me,
studying properly should consist of
a little procrastination
and a lot of coffee.

R.I.P. 50 million Americans

Though I would love to blog about my night on the beach
learning capoeira, and snapping pictures splashing through the waves with friends,
here in Rome it has been January 23rd for over an hour,
which is a very important day for me.

You see,
39 years ago today a crime was legalized in my country.
More than 50 million American babies have been aborted, and
that's not the kind of thing I brush aside and don't talk about.
I am a passionate person
and what I am most passionate about is people.

Tomorrow Americans will protest in Washington D.C.
Though I would give anything to be there, I am not,
and so I can only pray and hope from here.

I thought I'd share some of my shots from last years march.
{The duct tape sign's pretty rad}

We made a pact to dye our hair pink

Yes.
You read right.
As soon as exams are over!

My friend Alessia is dead-set on magenta (she is brave)
I am leaning more towards light pink, either a few strips or just 2-inch tips.

Alicepoint

If you told me,
that in the blink of an eye,
I could have any wardrobe of my choosing,
of any one person in the world,
I would be a very happy girl.

And I would tell you without thinking twice,
that I would choose, hands down,
the wardrobe of blogger/model @ Alicepoint.

I love love love her use of hues,
And how she pairs a lot of Zara and H&M
(making the looks somewhat doable for us poor folk)

I waste so much time on her blog.
For me both her style and her blog are bel.lis.imo!!

And now, back to procrastination, what I do best ;)
Looking forward to showing a new friend the wonders of Rome at night,
Tomorrow a birthday party, and dinner on the chilly beach that I call home.

A dopo!
